Popovers


6 Tbs. melted butter
6 eggs
3 cups milk
1-1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups sifted flour

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 2 popover (or muffin) pans lightly with butter. Set aside. With a mixer, beat the eggs until fluffy. Stir in melted butter and milk. Add the sifted flour and salt. Pour batter into tins, filling each about halfway. Bake for 30-45 minutes; remove. Punch a knife into tops to keep them from deflating.
