6 quarts popped pop corn
1 cup (2 sticks) margarine
2 cups packed brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Heat oven to 250 degrees. Coat the bottom of a large roasting pan with nonstick vegetable spray (Pam). Put in popcorn and set aside. In a saucepan, melt margarine; stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Boil, stirring constantly. Boil without stirring for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla. Gradually pour over popcorn, mix well. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely before eating.
